Programs & Services

The United Mothers of Loss Foundation offers a range of programs and services designed to support grieving families at every stage of their journey. We recognize that loss is not a single moment in time, but something that shapes a lifetime. Our programs reflect that understanding.

Our grief support offerings include safe, moderated spaces where mothers can share their stories, express their emotions, and connect with others who truly understand. These spaces are grounded in empathy, validation, and trauma-informed care. We provide gentle guidance through difficult milestones

UMLF also facilitates community support groups that address different aspects of motherhood and mental health, including our main United Mothers of Loss Foundation group, the United Stages of Motherhood Network, the Women’s Anxiety & Depression Support Group, Postpartum After a Loss, and Babies Lost in the Womb. Each group has its own focus, but all are rooted in compassion and respect.

Memorial and remembrance programs are a vital part of what we do. We create opportunities for families to honor their babies through the Our Angels Memorial Page, remembrance events, personalized graphics, and awareness campaigns. We believe naming, honoring, and remembering are powerful parts of healing.

Advocacy and awareness also play a large role in our mission. We work to educate the public about pregnancy and infant loss, reduce stigma, and encourage communities to better support loss families. Finally, through our Cuddle Cot Initiative, we help ensure hospitals have crucial tools to give families more time with their babies after loss
