Turning Loss Into Light

Purpose, Reflection & Foundation

Loss changed my life in ways I never expected. It altered how I see the world, how I love, and how I move through each day. Becoming a mother to children I could not keep taught me that grief is not something you leave behind—it is something you learn to carry with care.

For a long time, my world felt divided. Joy on one side. Grief on the other. I wondered how I could continue showing up for life while carrying so much pain. But slowly, I began to understand that love does not disappear with loss. It transforms. And sometimes, it calls you to do something meaningful with the pain you never asked for.

United Mothers of Loss Foundation was born from that calling.

What began as personal heartbreak became a mission—to ensure that no mother, no family, walks this road alone. Through this foundation, I found a way to honor my children not only in memory, but in action. Every resource shared, every space created, every hand held in the darkest moments is a reflection of the love that loss could not take away.

Turning loss into light does not mean forgetting. It does not mean moving on or minimizing grief. It means choosing to let love lead, even when the heart has been broken. It means creating something compassionate from something painful. It means allowing remembrance to become a source of connection, understanding, and hope.

My children are forever part of this work. Their lives matter. Their presence is woven into every story, every voice, every moment of support offered through this foundation. They are my reason. They are my light.

Grief may have written the beginning of this journey,

but love continues to write the purpose.
